Situated on a working farm in an elevated position above the Vale of Strathmore Ardormie Farm Cottage is an ideal base to relax and explore this wonderful area of Scotland. The cottage is light and airy with open views and has been recently refurbished to a high standard. It offers quality accommodation for two people.

Ardormie Farm Cottage is light and airy with open views over the surrounding countryside. Recently refurbished to a high standard it offers quality accommodation for two people. The bedroom has a large and comfortable double bed with ample space and an amazing view. Outside, the cottage has its own terrace with garden furniture and access into the garden. The cottage is ideally located for those wishing to take part in a whole range of outdoor activities.
Facilities
The cottage has an open plan sitting and dining room. Warm and comfortable with electric central heating, it is complete with TV and DVD and also CD and radio. The kitchen is well equipped for those wishing to exercise their culinary skills and includes a microwave oven. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and there is also a washer drier. The bedroom has a large and comfortable double bed with ample space and an amazing view.
The Location
Ardormie is about 5 miles from the small town of Alyth and a further 5 or so miles from Blairgowrie. In the surrounding area there are a whole variety of places to eat out ranging from nationally recognised gourmet hotels to local inns all within a reasonable driving distance. Dundee, the City of Discovery, is 30mins drive and Perth is 35mins. Both cities offer a whole host of activities and attractions and retail therapy if required.
How To Find Us
Ardormie Farm Cottage is situated just 10 minutes away from the main road and is on the Perthshire Angus boarder at the foot of Glenisla. The cottage is easy to find if you follow the directions given when you book.
Nearest Rail or Bus Station
There is a regular bus service from Alyth and a post bus once a day at the end of the 1 mile of farm track.>

There are two taxi services in Alyth - Alyth Taxis 01828 633333, and Murdoch’s Taxis 01828 633132.
Availability
The cottage is available for weekly lets (Friday to Friday) and also short breaks (minimum of 3 nights). Electricity is charged by meter reading. One well behaved dog is welcome, please bear in mind that this is a working farm with cattle and sheep.
Rates
Weekly lets cost from £210 in the winter to £320 in the summer with Christmas and New Year for £345 per week.
