Being keen and active environmentalists, we discovered some time ago that there was little or no encouragement and advertising for environmentally friendly accommodation throughout the UK. We decided that we should set up a site that can be used by everyone, either living in or visiting the British Isles, to find places to stay for your holidays. This means no flying, and getting to know and support our local tourism.
We provide the contact details for all the accommodation and services on the site. If you would like more information or to book a stay, please contact the owner direct stating that you heard about them from the Green Escapes website. We cannot make a reservation on your behalf.
